Fairy Dogs?

While I sitting outside Friday evening visiting with family, three of my grandchildren (Cole, Danyle, and Keihin) were out playing in our field. When all of a sudden they came a running, and yelling "we counted six fairy dogs!" "Fairy dogs?" I ask. "Yes, six of them!" they respond. I asked again, "What are you talking about, what are fairy dogs?" "They're out there, see the fairy dogs?" I look out into the field, and it becomes very clear, what we are talking about is prairie dogs. A little lack of communication with the grandchildren, but a good hardy laugh over this one. But wait are those little tiny wings on those prairie dogs? Naw, it can't be or can it?
