Memory Lane

I hope you will play along, here are the directions.

1. Add a comment on this posting of a memory that you and I have had. It can be funny or sentimental. Whatever you want.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see what memories people have of you. If you leave a memory in the comments, I'll assume that you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog or you don't have a blog I'll leave my memory of you in my comments on this post.

(P.S. If you don't know how to leave a comment, just go to the bottom of this posting where the word "comment" is and click on it. It will be self explanatory from there.

Remember back when you were doing your kitchen, I wacked you in the head with a 2x4.. I am so sorry..... I don't know why but that moment sticks out in my head so vivid.... Or our cemetary walks I miss those so much.. It was a great bonding time + a good work out..

Great minds think alike and so it must be with us because you wrote down almost the same exact memories I was thinking of writing on your blog and you beat me to it. So here are a few more things I'd add.....How about the time you so kindly helped me wash my hands by pouring the soap into my hands at the store? You were so mature by helping me that way.
I'll never forget how I feel when my phone rings at 10 am almost every day so that I can get my Kim fix. I love how whenever one of us receives jokes via the internet we never want to forward them to each other to read them until both of us can be on the phone to read them together so that we can laugh and laugh and laugh. How about the time we were visiting Mom after her
hysderectomy surgery and we read that book on women's hormones and got laughing so hard in front of Mom that she had to ask us to stop. And my greatest Christmas memory of you is the year that we were all at your house and we made that silly video for Karen and got to finally meet Mom's stickman. We have had so many wonderful times together and they just seem to get better. Thanks for all the laughter, the tears, the strength and the love. It really is time to get together and make so more memories. How about we shoot for next spring? Love ya sis.

My memories are many with you. I love all the times we would gather at Grandma & Grandpa Sowerby's house in their back yard on Adams Ave.
I remember one time me , you and Debbie (not sure if anyone else was there) in the back of your dad's truck (with some sort of shell on it) on our way to some lake. We were all singing all the songs we knew. One song "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" comes to my head every now and again, and in my minds eye I am back in the truck again.
Your laugh is something I always have fond memories of- you do that a lot.
I remember standing in line at the church sort of across the street from your house in Ben Lonond ( when you lived by Aunt Joanne) to see Fireman Frank (remember him) and then running away when it was my turn because I was afraid to go up to him. Incedently he used to come to the community center a couple of years ago to exercise(in his 80's) and was quite an arrogant man)
I remember the first time you offered me some popcorn the way your family fixed it with ketsup and mustard(gag!) Still tell people about it if the subject of popcorn comes up!
