Time is Relative(s)

I have been keeping in touch with my cousin Colleen for the last several months and we have been talking about somehow getting together for a visit. So with a few phone calls, a little bit of nudging I was able to get Colleen, 2 of her 3 sisters, Debbie and Tammy and my Aunt Llryn, to come down for a visit. We live a couple, three hours away from each other, although not very far the visits are far and few between. They came down weekend before last and spent the night. What a great visit! Both our families have such great sense of humors that for the most part all we do is laugh until our sides ache or we pee our pants. It is so sad that life gets to be so busy that we just don't seem to find enough time to get more visiting in. We have all been relatively close most all our lives. Growing up together, my cousins Colleen, Debbie, Tammy, and Michelle, and my sister Karlene and myself were all in the same age group, so we spent a lot of time together.

We had a BBQ Saturday night, a good late night/early morning reminiscing of old memories, and the making of new ones. Sunday morning breakfast which by the way Colleen and Tammy jumped right in and cooked. I don't know how, but also got Tammy to clean the kitchen she even broke out in a sweat over this labor of love. The kitchen just sparkled, I'm definitely having her visit more often.
I truly enjoyed the visit, and can't wait to do it again. My cousins are those childhood playmates who have grown up to be forever friends.

I'm glad you girls were able to get together. You know, you, Karen and my mom were all blessed with sisters. None of your daughters have any sisters. I never noticed it before, but you all had one girl and lots of boys.

Can't wait to come back down. That was so fun, and we truly were and are very blessed to have grown up with sisters. Personally, I would have liked to have had a brother, but would not give up any of my sisters. Love You!

Man, I wish I could of been there. I love all of you so much and love spending time together. We really need to plan something for next year so that we can all have a belly laugh again.
