Fabric Addiction

In an earlier post I mention that I love fabric, and I buy yards upon yards whether I need it our not. I just can't seem to get enough of the yardage. Cotton, flannel, it doesn't matter I will find room for more. I have plaid and check fabric, plain fabric, flower fabric, kid fabric, outdoor print fabric, and I even have a piece of pig print fabric. I don't even remember what I got that for. What is shown here is only the half of all the fabric I have. I have got to get a handle on this fabric fetish, learn to control myself, get finished up with a couple of projects I've been working on and use up the fabric I have before going out and buying any more. I think I've got a pretty bad addiction, and I'm not even sure if there is a 12 step program for Fabalcoholic's like me!

I'm jealous, I wish I could come and sit with you for a while and you could share some of your skills with me. I think you may need to get some help for your addition though.

wow...that is a lot of fabric! The pig material is for me...didn't my mom tell you that I used to collect pigs? I had all sorts of pic stuff, but no one ever made me anything with pig fabric. All this time you thought it had no purpose...just joking.

Don't forget that all that fabric is tied to an amazing talent! I don't think it's an addiction...think of it more as a good habit. Everytime you buy more fabric, you're preparing for something that is going to increase your sewing talent!
