The Bucket List

I recently purchased the movie "The Bucket List", and just loved it. I was expecting a comedy, but it turned out to be so much more. It was funny, had drama, and also heartwarming. It is really worth seeing.

Having gone through cancer myself, life takes on a whole new meaning. You want to live more, you begin to think about all the things you didn't do, and all the things you would like to do. And you're so afraid you won't get to do enough. I have thought about what I would have on my bucket list and one thing that I've always wanted to do is .... I want to spend one week on the Oregon coast, this by far has got to be the most beautiful place, rent a condo or cottage, with no plans just sit on the beach. Oh and maybe take an Alaskan cruise. These are a couple of big things I'd like to do. But there are a lot of little things I'd like to do also. Life is so fragile, and so short, it is important to make everything count, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Oh and yes, Karlene coming to Georgia is also on my list. Spending a week with my sisters is close to the top of my bucket list!

Okay, sis, I'm waiting, but promise me you'll come in the fall or spring, then I can show you what beauty is all about. You know, October is a great month to visit, and I know someone you love that celebrates a birthday then. Tee hee.
