Boys and Their Toys

Between boats, 4-wheelers, dirt bikes and pick-up trucks, there is just something about motorize vehicles that make guys tick. And it seems the more the merrier. Steve has had his motorcycle for sometime. And just as soon as the weather permits he has it out on the road. Well not to be out done by his dad, our son Chris is now is the proud owner of his very own motorcycle. I'm not much of a biker person myself, but I do enjoy a ride every now and then. I do how ever smile when I sit and watch them sit and just stare at their bikes, checking out the polish and shine, keeping all the chrome just spotless, and maybe a time or two checking out their own reflections in all that chrome. And I've come to realize that there must be some sort of secret club for guys with bikes. I've ridden with Steve a time or two and all bikers have a certian kind of wave they do in passing. They talk about a ride called the "Iron Butt" which consist of riding 1000 miles in a 24 hour period. Go figure! It has got to be a guy thing, or maybe a biker thing. Anyway we took a ride tonight maybe covered 40 miles and that was just enough for my sissy butt!
